Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Noida invites application for admissions to Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics Program offered in the Department of Economics for 2015-16 sessions.

The last date for receiving applications deadline is April 17th, 2015
Written test will be held on May 03rd, 2015
Date for the interview on 25th – 26th May 2015
Eligibility for Phd in Economics 2015
Students who have or will have a Masters degree (in any discipline) by September 2015 may apply. Prior economics training is not required.
Admission Process
The first step in the admission process is a written test held across six cities in India: NCR, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
Applicants will be informed about the venue of the test at least a week before the exam date. The written test will be held onMay 03rd, 2015.

Completed application forms should reach SNU by April 17th, 2015
PhD applicants must submit three reference letters and a statement of purpose in support of their application.
Applications can be submitted by email or by post. Reference letters in sealed envelopes can be sent by post along with the application or can be directly sent by referees to econgrad@snu.edu.in.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview to be held at the Shiv Nadar University campus; the date for the interview is May, 25th – 26th 2015
The department will reimburse candidates selected for interview with AC 3 tier fare
In addition the students need to provide reference letters from at least three referees
