Karunya University has been invited applications for admission to Ph.D & M.Phil (Full Time/Part Time) Programs for the academic year 2015-16.
Eligibility Details for Ph.D/M.Phil Programs
For Ph.D Course: Master’s Degree of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by this University.
Minimum eligibility is 55 percent of marks or equivalent CGPA; however 5 percent relaxation is given to the applicants belonging to SC/ST.
For M.Phil Course: Master Degree in Arts, Science, Computer Application and Management of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the field of study.

Selection Process for Karunya University PhD MPhil Admissions
The University will advertise in leading news papers and also through University website for calling for application for admission into Ph.D / M.Phil program during March / April and also during September / October every year.
Eligible applicants will be invited to write a written test conducted by the University.
The written test will be in 2 parts.
Part 1 is on general aptitude and Part 2 is a technical aptitude for research.
The questions through Part 2 will be department specific; after the test, the applicants will be asked to appear in an interview and the rank list will be prepared.
Depending on the vacancy available, students will be admitted into the programmes.
The University shall advertise for Ph.D/M.Phil (Full-Time / Part-Time) programmes for the July intake as well as for theNovember intake.

Filled in application form with all details and a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Registrar, Karunya University”payable at Coimbatore for Rs600/- (For Indian Nationals) / Rs.2400 (For NRI applicants / Foreign Nationals) be sent toAdmissions Officer, Karunya University, Coimbatore-641 114, Tamil Nadu, India to reach on or before April 13th, 2015.
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to appear for a test and interview before final selection.
