Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, invites applications online for admission into various postgraduate courses in Arts, Science,and Commerce offered at Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, and its affiliated colleges, for the academic year 2015-16

Eligibility for RUPGCET 2015

The applicant must have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40 percent marks in the subject concerned.

For the courses where admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of marks in the group subjects should be at least 40 percent.

For admission to M.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.Ed/B.El.Ed must be at least 50 percent and in case of D.El.Ed with UG Degree course with 50 percent marks in each course.

Eligibility Criteria for Different Courses

The eligibility criteria for Entrance Test to each course available at Rayalaseema University (RU), Kurnool, and at its affiliated colleges are given below:

M.Sc: Biochemistry B.Sc with Chemistry/ Biochemistry with any Biology subject, Test – Biochemistry.

M.Sc: Biotechnology B.Sc with Chemistry/ Biotechnology and any one Biology subject / B.Tech Biotechnology, Test – Biotechnology.

M.Sc Botany: B.Sc with Botany and Chemistry / Biochemistry, Test – Botany.

M.Sc Chemistry, Chemistry (Organic): B.Sc with Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry (studied for 3 years) and any two science subjects, Test – Chemistry.

M.Com., M.Com (Professional): B.Com or BA with Accountancy under Part II or B.Com Computers/Computer Applications or BBA /BBM/ B.Com Company Secretary ship or B.Com (Honors) or B.Com (Restructured Courses), Test – Commerce.

M.Sc Computer Science: B.Sc Computer Science / BCA / BA Computer Applications / B.Com Computer Applications / B.Sc Mathematics combination /BA Mathematics combination, Test – Computer Science.

M.A Economics: BA with Economics, Test – Economics.

M.Ed: B.Ed, Test – Education.

M.Sc Electronics & Communications: B.Sc Mathematics, Physics & Electronics; B.Sc Mathematics, Electronics & Computer Science; B.Sc Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science; B.Sc Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry, Test – Electronics & Communications.

MA English: Any graduate with English in Part I or Part II for a minimum of atleast 200 marks, Test – English.

M.Sc Mathematics, Applied, Mathematics: BA or B.Sc with Mathematics, Test – Mathematics.

M.Sc Micro-Biology: BSc with Microbiology / Chemistry and any two biology subjects, Test -MicroBiology.

M.Sc Physics: BSc with Physics and Mathematics, Test – Physics.

M.Sc OR&SQC (Statistics): BA /B.Sc with Statistics and Mathematics, Test – Statistics.

M.A. Telugu: Any graduate with Telugu in Part I or Part II or BA Oriental Learning in Telugu for a minimum of atleast 200 marks, Test – Telugu.

M.Sc Zoology: BSc with Zoology and Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry, Test – Zoology.

Online Registration and Uploading of Application on 21st March to 15th April 2015

Registration with late fee of Rs.500/- on 16th April to 20th April 2015

Eleventh Hour late fee of Rs.1000/- on 21^st April to 23^rd April 2015

Last date for uploading online application on April 24^th, 2015
