UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAMMES Bachelors of Design (B.Des) Product Design Transportation Design Bachelors in Fine Arts (B.FA): Digital Arts POST GRADUATE PROGRAMMES M. Des: Transportation Design Industrial Design Eligibility: B. Des: A. For Examination Pathway: Must have scored at least 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) Must have scored at least 50% aggregate in PCM/B at Senior Secondary Level (12th) B. For Non Examination Pathway: Board Merit: Must have scored at least 65% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology at Senior Secondary level (12th class) JEE Mains/UCEED Merit: Must have scored at least 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th class) Admission Procedure:  A. Examination Pathway: UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPESDAT) followed up by Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio B. Non - Examination Pathway: On the basis of Board Merit / JEE Mains 2016/UCEED Merit Total Fee: 10,53,700 B. FA: Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (10th & 12th) Admission Procedure: UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES – DAT) Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio Total Fee: 6,96,000 M.Des: Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (10th & 12th) B. Tech / BE in any discipline / B. Arch / BFA 4 years / 3 years B.Sc in Design plus 1 year of Foundation / B. Des / Applied Arts with minimum 50% marks Admission Procedure: Valid CEED 2015 or 2016 score or Valid UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES – DAT) score Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio Total Fee: 9,37,500 M. Des Scholarships UPES has introduced scholarship for all the Master of Design programs. The scholarship has 2 criteria; fulfillment of specific criteria will result in the waiver of tuition fee 50% Scholarship on 1st Year Tuition Fee: Such scholarship will be limited to only 10% of total admissions in each M. Des program. It will be allotted in the merit order (based on graduation percentage) after completion of program registration i.e. on commencement of classes Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 65% in 10th, 12th and Graduation Minimum 35 marks in CEED exam or 60 in UPES – DAT The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 6 lacs 25% Scholarship on 1st Year Tuition Fee: Such scholarship will be limited to only 25% of total admissions in each M. Des program. It will be allotted in the merit order (based on graduation percentage) after completion of program registration i.e. on commencement of classes Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 60% in 10th, 12th and Graduation Minimum 30 marks in CEED exam or 50 in UPES – DAT The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 6 lacs Scholarship in the subsequent year will be guided by the scholarship policy of the university.
