GITAM GSIB 2017

GSIB Entrance Test 2017 – GITAM School of International Business is conducting a national level entrance test, GSIB Entrance Test (GET 2017). This is an entrance examination conducted by GSIB exclusively for those who do not possess CAT 2016 / XAT 2017 / MAT 2016 / MAT 2017 / NMAT / GMAT / CMAT scores.

Valid test scores for GSIB admissions are CAT- 2016 / XAT-2017 / MAT – (Sep-2016, Dec-2016, Feb-2017 and May-2017) / GET’17 (GSIB Entrance Test 2017) / NMAT / GMAT / CMAT.

GET 2017 is compulsory for those applicants who have not taken any of the other valid tests, and is optional for those who already possess any of the above scores. Qualification in GET 2017 does not reserve any right to the applicant for admission into any of the three programmes offered by GSIB.

Eligibility Criteria

For MBA Programmes

·         Second Class or equivalent CGPA in any Bachelor’s Degree (after 10+2) from a recognized University.

·         Those awaiting results of Final Year Degree examinations may also apply. However, if proof of graduation is not submitted by 30th, September 2017, their admission will be automatically cancelled without refund of fee.

·         Valid test scores in CAT-2016 / XAT-2017 / MAT – (Sep-2016, Dec-2016, Feb-2017 and May-2017) / GET’17 (GSIB Entrance Test 2017) / GMAT/CMAT – 1st & 2nd tests.

For PGDBA Programme

·         Any Graduate or Post Graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Computer Application, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering/Technology, Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Certified Financial Analyst with second class or Equivalent CGPA is eligible to apply.

·         Candidates who are in the final year also eligible to apply provided they complete their final education as specified above by September, 2017.

Admission Procedure

For MBA Programmes

Admission process shall include test (if applicable) and GD/PI which will be conducted at Bengaluru/ Bhubaneswar / Chennai / Delhi / Guwahati / Hyderabad / Indore / Kolkata / Mangalore/ Mumbai / Nagpur / Raipur/ Ranchi/Visakhapatnam. GSIB reserves the right to add or delete any centre(s).

For PGDBA Programme

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their aggregate scores in Valid test scores in CAT-2016 / XAT-2017 / MAT – (Sep-2016, Dec-2016, Feb-2017 and May-2017) / / GMAT/CMAT – 1st & 2nd tests and PGDBA-Entrance Test (multiple choice types) and Personal Interview (PI). Due weightage will be given to the candidates with good academic record and relevant industry experience.
