What is the Full Form of BCA ?

BCA - Bachelor of Computer Applications

Bachelor of Computer Applications is a 3-year undergraduate degree in the field of Computer application in India.  If you are inclined towards computer related subjects : Data Structure, DBMS, Computer System & Organization, Operating System, Data Communication Networks, Computer Graphics, Object Oriented Design and Programming and Software Engineering, then it is a right field for you.

The eligibility criteria for getting admitted to BCA :
  • An individual must have completed 10+2 (HSC)
  • Two or three year diploma course after 10th standard
  • Along with this some universities also conducts entrance before admission

After successfully completing Bachelor of Computer Applications, a candidate can opt for the Masters degree in computer application (MCA). Job prospects after BCA+MCA are much better as compared to plain graduation.
