Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical
College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune established in 1996.
The college received recognition of
the Medical Council of India (MCI), for the award of MBBS Degree from its very
first batch.
The MBBS program offered by the
college is recognized by the Malaysian Government and Malaysian Medical
Council. The International Recognition will enable our Medical College students
to be appointed as Government Doctors in Malaysia, a unique opportunity to have
international exposure in the field of Medicine.
This is the first private College in
the State of Maharashtra to receive MCI approval to increase in the intake
capacity of MBBS Course from 100 to 150 students in 2003 and from 150 to 250 in
2012, within the short span of time.
The College conducts Postgraduate
Degree and Diploma Courses with annual intake of 145 in the following 19
subjects : General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Opthalmology,
ENT (Oto Rhino Laryngology), General Medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology,
Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis, Pulmonary Medicine, Skin & Venereal Diseases,
Pathology, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology
and Biochemistry.

Eligibility:
Student must pass degree of M.B.B.S
from an recognized University.
The student should have completed
such period of post examination or rotating intrenship.
Admission Process:
- Candidate should obtain 50% or more marks at AIPGMET to qualify for admission.
- The provisional selection for the General Seats in the Post Graduate Courses will be done on the basis of merit in All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET).
- When all the Seats in a given Course are filled admission of students to that Course will instantaneously cease and Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Pune will not be responsible for non-availability of seats and non allotment of seats to rest of the candidates.
